Precise History
The school is situated on the road leading from Kotkapura to Moga (From Panjgrain Kalan via Ghania Wala) and the distance of five kilometers in the center of village Jiwanwala. The school was established in the year 1985 as a Primary School with the help of villagers. It became Middle school in 1990 and High in 1993 with the cooperation of Punjab Govt. It was promoted to Sr. Sec. School in 1995.

As another milestone, Degree college was started in 2003  and got recommendation for science classes in the year 2004. In the year 2006, boarding house (Hostel for girls) was started.

The school has its own big building which provides all the academics facilities such as computer lab, science lab, library, audio visual library and first aid room. The school possesses 76 rooms and an open auditorium.

Aim
To construct a strong base by developing all round personality of the village students and help them to achieve high posts and status in the society.

Motto
"Shubh Karman Te Kabho Na Tron" ( ਸ਼ੁਭ ਕਰਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਟਰੋਂ  )  is the motto of the school. This means that I shall pay my duty with responsibility and shall never hesitate while doing good deed. This Shabad is in Guru Granth Sahib at page No. 127 written by Guru Gobind Singh in "Chandi Charitre".

Symbol
Flame lighting in the vast Universe in the star is the symbol of school. Thus it is the symbol of light and star is the assistant medium. Light is the symbol of knowlege which is necessary to remove darkness of ignorance or lack of knowledge. Thus this institution has been established to bring all round development of the children by providing them all round knowledge.

Badge
School Badge is made of symbol, Motto, School Name and Place. Every student wears it along with his/her school uniform.

School Day
School day is celebrated on 23rd of March every year, which is dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh
